These photographs of a bulletin board at the University of Chicago were taken on March 24, 2007. The work has not been completed because of two knee surgeries and many ordinary details of life. When the series is finalized, larger images and more background information will be available. The texture of this form of communication caught my eye. Its exposure to the elements, the public, and the history of events and announcements presented a wonderful opportunity for exploration.
